Worrying

Wendy: I’m worried about you.

Dorothy: I know. But you shouldn’t be. I’m fine.

Wendy: Are you really?

Dorothy: No.

Wendy: See? That’s why I’m worried.

Dorothy: Does worrying about me make things better?

Wendy: I suppose not. But I can’t help it.

Dorothy: And why are you worried about me?

Wendy: You don’t seem happy.

Dorothy: I’m not. But is that cause for worry. Are you happy?

Wendy: Yeah.

Dorothy: You don’t sound sure about that.

Wendy: Well, there’s stuff going on.

Dorothy: There’s always stuff going on. So, I should be worried about you.

Wendy: Oh no. I’m good.

Dorothy: So am I.
