Getting through this book was a bit of a chore. I made it through the entire book without coming to care about any of the characters. That’s rare for me. And yet, I never considered abandoning; I find that puzzling. I decided to give a three heart rating because I’d recommend the book to (select) people just to have someone to compare notes with. Wrong, I know. I’d definitely provide a disclaimer!
